Google seems like a pretty fun space to live. Fun slides and all that. I was interested to see that they use Igloo Satelite Cabins for their breakout spaces in their offices in Zurich. These things are built to survive arctic conditions, for research spaces and such. Everyone has been at work and needs some private space, quiet, to get on with what they’re doing and away from the chitter-chatter. I love the idea of having huge open plan office space with a few of these dotted about.

All this reminded me of the House on the Table by Design Mong (great name). You could build a mini town in an open plan office. Lovely.
